Well, it seems there have been a recent interest in computer skiing games with the improvment of DNA spin. Well, it got me thinking. We need a game made by skiers based on suggestions and input from people on here. The past few weeks iv been attempting to put something together. This however, is not something that will be done in a week or two, it is an on-going project.
Let me get to the point! I need your suggestions and input for what would want to see in a game. Understand that i have limits and am not a professional developer, so keep them realistic!
And for those that are interested in this sort of thing, this is how i am working on making it (note: this is a bunch of technical blah):
-It will be delivered in either a stand alone projector or be web based.
-This will be a realtime 3d interactive game
-The game greation will be based in 3ds and Director 3d. Models will be made in 3ds and exported for development in director with .W3D
-If you want to try and create something similar, you will need Reactor for 3Dmax. Physics are based on the Reactor/HavoK physics engine, that is available in maya, 3ds and director, alowing scenes with havok properties to be interchange. (If you want a copy of Havok/Reactor for max, i can send you a copy)
Any one who has experience in any of this who would like to give me suggestions, assistance, that would be great.
