I'd never heard of those before. Looked them up and it says the length was 94 cm. So these are snowblades kinda? Has anyone actually ever put grind plates on a full length ski before? That seems like it would totally screw up the flex of the ski.

pow-air grinds, the pros were the ones without grindplates on the bottom. and i've never been so terrified sliding a rail in my life as i was on those skis. granted, i'm a lot better now than i was then, but they slid so fast and you had no control whatsoever. you couldn't really pressure your edge to stop spins on or to set spins off since it was a block of UHMW underfoot.
