brand name obsessions?
I was in the lodge at fortune, and I heard the tail-end of two girl's conversation. It seemed to be about some musician, '...I respect them as artists, and I respect them because they wear dc and because I have dc shoes...' Why would you respect someone because they wear a certain brand of clothes? You can't base it on that. Why is it that people willpay three times the price for something that is exactly the same, except for a tiny logo on the chest. That, and people who pay for stickers (unless a band), bug me.
These things make me mad.
its just girls man, theyre weird like that, and the guys like that are homos

it all starts out with a brand being good. Its so good that everyone wants it and it has a good reputation. Supply and demand makes their prices go up. Their reputation gets even better and they don't even need good stuff anymore. Thats why people pay more for a brand name.
My girlfriend told me to shove my skis up my ass

It makes me sick cause people will pay so much for like plain white shirts at abercrombie. I can understand like getting some shirts there like the button up ones cause you can't find those anywhere else, but you can get tanks and shorts for so much cheaper anywhere else. As far anything goes, if I like it, I'll buy it if I dun have to pay millions of dollars for it.
Skiing is not for the simple minded, that's why they invented the snowboard.

who cares about brand as long as it performs well weather it be skis bikes or musician. as long as it's good i don't care, brand is all about status rather than the sport itself, that's why blank skis would be so cool, customize them yourself and no brand names
