If you REALLY wanna put your DIN at 8 you could get away with it...but it seems CRAZY considering you're only 135lbs (plus you'll get about 1 year out of those bindings). Sounds like you bought the wrong binding (no offense), You need something like the Look P10/P12, with that binding you could set your DIN properly (probably 5 or 6) and you won't prerelease.
If you're landing back seat on 50 footers you need to realease my man.....your bindings ARE doing what they're made to do. Once again I'm going to post the SACRED DIN chart, please look at it and determine where YOU should be, not where you THINK you should be. Start where it says you should start, then move up from there AFTER you try what it says...don't move more than a setting at a time.
Save your pennies and buy a binding made for jumping and set the DIN where it should be...
I'm 6' 180 extremely aggressive skier, I have my DIN for two of my three pairs set at 8/8.5...
The DIN chart:
If you don't know what that stuff means or how to read the chart...or even need to figure out how to read the chart STOP what you're doing and go to a tech. Remember that you add/subtract settings depending your ability.
