knitting a hat took me like a week and a half, so I took up chrocheting and making hat took me an hour and a half.

knitting a hat is really easy. all you do is knit a long square piece to the size of your head. knit the two ends together and than pull a string through the top and pull it as tight as you can and that makes a hat
