My Ski Debate

The annual time for me to figure out my skis has come. I am looking for a ski that I can ski everywhere, except on jibs because I want to keep the skis nice for ripping around. I am about 5' 8" and 190 lbs, and these are what I am considering:

178 JP v Julien (Armada)
179 Made'n (K2)
178 Rory Silva (Ninthward)

I will jump in the park and everywhere else on these skis, as well as skiing pow in fairly tight trees and ripping groomers. I want the ski to not chatter and hold an edge fairly well. I have a lot more knowledge about the first two, and am interested to hear more about the Silva. Thanks for helping me decide.

if u want to ski everything i wouldnt suggest those skis, if i were u i would get a relatively stiff ski with around a 90 waist, like the volkl karma or head mojo 90

seriously neither of those 3 are like and "all around" ski. Sure you can use them in the park. Ive used madens and JPs in the park. silva does use his in the park though, probably the most all around of the 3. For what you are looking for, seriously, a mojo 90 or big trouble would be a good choice.

However, I want a ski with a waist around 110 for pow pow. I have demoed the Madens, and really like how well they ski.

a more all around ski and it rips groomers and powder

Yeah, but I would like a fatter ski. I really like the float the Madens / Ak Enemys(sp, 06-07) and that is why I want a fatter ski. In all honesty I just need them to jump in the park, and they will be used for Off piste more than on.

The prophet is 100 at the waist, and the Chonic Wide is no longer made. However, the Prophet is worth considering.
