On another site I go on often a small check mark appears beside the thread name if you have posted in there somewhere. I find it is easier than opening My Threads because mine freezes up all the time. Good idea or no?

Been suggested a few times by me and other people. Maybe the next overhaul. For now just keep it clean. I only save ones that I think might come in handy someday.

yeah i guess it would be good but you can also delete some of your mythreads you wont look at any more so that would help the freezing.

mine works fine.
But the other sites do have a good system. Plus, you can pick and choose which threads you want to have in your "subscribed threads" section, rather than just having a shitload pop up when you come back from vacation and having to delete a gazillion threads in there.

yeah but some people have a million bajillion (AKA 1000+) that may have posted a lot before they left on vacation or camping or so and then they have 50+ threads to deal with in "my threads"

Yeah that's probably a good point.

hmm... how can we solve this problem....
don't fucking postwhore, and only post in threads you care to come back to and read replies! what a concept, eh? seems to work fine for me.

i decided i was going to clean out My Threads for the first time in two years today. Then i opend My Threads and realized I would be deleting for days. A "clear all" button would be a nice feature for people who go on vacation or don't use My Threads very often.

It would be cool to be able to "flag" threads you want to come back to, but a lot of thread people dont care to come back to. For example, I never need to read this again, just because I posted here doenst mean its worthy of a specail "mark"

Yeah same here. Don't post heaps so easy to keep track of it all that way. Esepcially since I might only come on every couple of days or so, definately saves scrolling through the individual topics for a particular thread.
