Which ski would be a better choice for me???

In a best case scenario, I have two options...
1. On august 17th...i could get the 185 05/06 volkl karmas for around 600.00 (estimate) at a local tent sale.no binders.
OR
2. On august 26th(ish) i get 181 rossi srcatch fs 05/06...for around 500.00(general estimate) possibly with binding.
I want another pair of bindings for my old chronics for urban shit and bomb drops...i am 6'1''..(183 exactly) and like a stiffer ski...i am fairly hard on my skis doing rails and shit...i am about 175lbs so i am not easy on impact...i will be using them for mainly park and SOME all mountain stuff....i figure 80-85% park and 10-15% everything else....i live east coast so lots of ice....i personally am leaning towards the karmas center mounted....any info that would change my mind??? thanks.

i think the karmas are your best bet but i'm SURE you can find them for less than 6 hundo especially since they're '06!

karmas are stiffer than scratches so you may like them all mt a lil more but i love my scratches in the park and they perform well all mt too. I think scratches are a great park ski with alot of all mt ability. not too soft for all mt and not to stiff for park. but i would never pay more than 350 for a pair of skis look around you can find a better deal than those.

Wait a bit. Buying early can screw up some choices you coud have later.

Don't center mount karmas, that ruins a perfectly good ski. If you center mount anything you can kiss any potential it had for being good outside of the park goodbye. That being said, you're a pretty big guy so I'd definitely go for the karmas, I've found the scratches to be way too soft for any sort of hard snow.

id say the karmas are the better of the two skis but come on, 600 dollars for them, thats a total rip off. I wouldnt center mount them either, 2 or 3 back would be good in the park but give you the ablity to perform outside the park

well Karma's are stiffer but a lot of the volkl team rides them but the fs's are really nice park skis you can butter with them but still have stability out of the park

I say you should get the Karmas. The Karmas are way sick. But you should definately find a cheaper price for them. I would never pay over $500 for a pair of skis without bindings.
