start out with some buisness. if you know you like buisness find a buisness college like babson (i visted its real good). but umm what he said about economics is right but you honestly dont need to know what you want to major in right away. you have time
My advice to you would be to just look for a college you really fit into and like. A good school with a solid reputation. It doesn't matter what you think you want to do for a major/job right now because you will change it. Just look for a school that really rocks your socks, and go there.
you don't really need college to be a general contractor...do you want to run a business only, or do you wanna get your hands dirty and build stuff. We have a family business course at my school too
i think he wants to run the business and hire people to get their hands dirty, in that case business programs that focus more on small business management would probably be your best bet
