i didnt look at that but tapping on a guitar is easy just look it up on the net and learn some basics about it

i could be totally off, but i think you may be thinking of finger tapping as in van halen eruption type tapping. That's pretty easy, but this stuff looks alot more technical. once again, i may be totally off.

no i  think you're right.. i mean this looks like the same deal in the vid, its still finger tapping, but the guy in the vid if freaking good at it and developed his own style that sounds very sick as opposed to van halen's style, for example, with eruption
but yea
sick stuff
sounds awesome
haha i could be way off as well though

your both kinda right, guitar tapping is an easy skill to learn but to master it is the hard part, ppl are like ya can tap and it sounds like shit while others can tap without distortion and it sounds totaly clear

tapping took me a while to figure out but its just basically hammer ons and pull offs with both hands. You also are going to have to work up your hand speed. Now the guy in the video is completely INSANE. Thats sickest use of tapping that I have ever seen.

he doesnt use tapping to play that, he uses tremelo picking and picks the open string, watch a video and u'll see what im talking about
