i wanna learn, but my hill has no kinked rails cuz its the most piece of shit place ull ever see. how should i go about learning them?? seems to me they are harder on flat rails. but thats all i got, any tips?
i first learned by doing them on boxes, its easier to do them blindside on boxes though
jump onto the box and keep your knees tucked a little, keep the momentum going a little and then wenever youre ready just jump and spin your body/skis, i dont knowif that was a good explanation
i learned on flat rails casue we don't have anyhting fancy, they way i would do it when i first started was, when you do the 90 to get on the rail keep a little momentum going so your skis will go a little bit farther than perpendicular to the rail and you kinda spin on the rail and just about where you would be at a 180 just hop a little and roatate your hips. its all in the hips. i know thats confusing but once you figure it out it gets easier.
All you have to do is get on the box and keep spinning, and just do a little hop every 180 degrees. Once you have those down, it's just as easy on rails.
