First of all, sorry for my english, I usually speak french and this english is just what I learned at school :D !
So, I need some advices before buying my new ski equipment.
I'm 1m80 and I weight 80kg. I ski since I'm 2 or 3, therefore my ski level is quiet ok, at least outside the pow and the park.
Anyways, this year will be the first where I'll be in the park, trying to learn somethings :p ! I want a ski that is not too bad in BC too but I'll be mostly on piste. So: 50% piste 40% park 10 % BC .
I already saw the Get'n Trouble or the Ar6 .. Wich one is better ? An other ?
Wich ski boot and fix should I take, knowing that money is not a prob ( thx switzerland )...
a good ski for you would probubly be anything in the volkl karma, salomon foil, head mojo 90 area. versatile skis that can do it all. as for bindings if you were to buy a head ski or a salomon ski i would stick to that manufacturers recomended binding, it is designed to work with the ski and will also extend the skis warrenty, if you were to go with a company that does not have a recomended binding (armada for example) i would go with a look/rossignol binding but that is also just from personal expirience. last but not least as far as boots go you really do need to get into a shop and try different boots on, salomon, technica, dalbello and head all have very good all mountain/freeride ranges of boots but it all depends on what fits your foot.
the age question was asked because if you were younger, there would be a big chance of you growing so they might suggest a ski length that is alittle bigger, so you can grow into it, year, ar6 i think would be good, also maybe look into the K2 Public Enemy
You know you have the coolest cab driver when he says, 'And we're off like a prom dress.'
Pklink04: "Yeah, she snowboards..."
Murphski: "Be careful, you dont wanna catch it."
the new rossi BC's are super super light, so you could use them in the park. rory bushfield did at x games. if you ski super pow, i would say a wide ski like the karma or big troubles are for you. i hav not skied either of those skis however. i rossi is really light and from the sonds of it you mayy want to consider that one too
Les AR6 so excellent dans le parc, mais sont la marde pour hors piste. J'ai the premier model en 176, et j'ai aime beaucoup.....meme sur des Double Diament. Ils sont un petit peut chere pour tes permier ski at double spatule.
Matman10: Man lat you had that 7 down but you binder poped off
Laterails:Yeah i think they aren't adjusted, or it could be the fact that all that is holding them together is one of my pubes
