Lange crl boots
im lookin to get a stiffer ski boot for next winter and i was looking towards lange. and since i have a narrow foot, they should fit well. so, i was wondering though if any one had used the regular CRL's (not the freerides), paticularly 90's. if youve tried them on or own a pair, let me now how the fit/ski. thanks
I'll die to win, 'cause I was born to lose.
how they ski will largely depend on how they fit... go try some on!! I wouldn't recommend looking at boots first online cuz then you'll find some you like on paper and talk yourself into buying them even if they dont fit the best.
yeah i've got the crl90s? 80? can't remember, but they're a few years old and held up fine. a little stiff when it comes to landings, especially since i'm a pretty thin guy, but they've treated me well. they'll rip through the groomers and trees real nice too.

The 80s are really soft, so you might want to look at the Comp 120s or the Comp 120 FRs.

The CRL 90 is not stiff at all. Look into 100s or 120s if you want stiff and will fit a Lange. The only real difference between Lange's FR and non-FR models is the cuff height - about an inch lower at some points on the FR. You don't get the shock absorbing bootboard on the non FR, but it really doesn't do much at all, and the flex is the exact same. You get a better liner on the non FR too (removable spoiler). I had some 120 FRs that I broke and warrantied for 120s and the cuff was a lot nicer on my calves. I've tried on one of next years, it was orange and called the Freeride 120 or something, very nice, have a look at that.
