there was an article in the news paper saying that cops are going to bust kids partying in the woods this weekend (graduation) by spotting them from planes heat camera..

anyways I went and partied in the woods and no cops. (although a plane did go by and i was a bit paranoid, mostly from the mj though)

I believe that itst all bull shit and this article was released only to scare kids out of partying in the woods..

And damn, the woods are a great place to party, usually your not bugging any neighboring houses or parking up a street, hell most of the poeople that went walked!

what is this nation coming to, damn.

Partying in the woods is the most dangerous thing you can possibly do, think about it. If your drunk you can stumble into holes, trip over roots and basically fuck yourself up in there a lot easier than a house.

no, where i am theres this reall chill spot . you walk a ways on an overgrown road into an abandond boy and girl spot camp ground, its so tight,.

and there's no one around for a ways so their are no worries.

i was at the marijuana march in toronto, i lit up my bong right infront of a cop car and smoked a nice j sitting on the hood of a cop car. they wont do shit. SPECIALLY if your canadian! JEA!

actually, that would give them probable cause, which would legally allow them to search you and your car, in which case, you would get busted and the cops wouldnt get angry, because they would be too busy laughing at how fuckin stupid you are.

my city's police dept just got two infared cameras. They used them last week at two parties i was at. We figured we were safe when the choppers didn't turn on the spotlight...and then the police showed up. But they were cool about it and just told us we were going to have to "meet inside if we were going to gather."

for the most part,my town has cool cops. they check on a bunch of parties,but they dont care about teen drinking or anything. they almost always just say "drink responsibly" when they leave.

Partying in the woods is such an odd thing. I know SO many people who used to do it ALL the time, and then so many other people who have never once even considered it.

All the people I'm talking about drink heavily too, so it's not like I asked a bunch of squares if they pound beers in the woods.

Personally I've never done it... didn't really have to. We always found a way to use a house or take shots more subtly after 'rents would pass out.

As far as the heat camera; that sucks... but they cannot legally use it for anything but woods parties. If they were to use it on some overcrowded house it would be an illegal search of the premises... unless they somehow got a permit but that's unlikely for a rager.

in my town their is allways massave partys at the beach, the most recent one had like 150+ people and the cops rolled up and shut the whole beach down and shit and then called sercurity to patrol the beach the rest of the night. SOO GAY

thats is soo fucked!! why don't they just get buses to drive all the kids around? fucking jerk offs. they are just afriad of getting thier hands dirty and actually taking on responsibility. I strongly believe that eveyrone should be able to underage drink...it is a crucial part of growing up....if you do not do this, there is no way in hell you can be normal or have "normal rational socially working" views about the world.

Your a fucking pussy, partying in the woods is the best, ever. Nothing beats getting 4 cases of keystone, 6 friends and telling drunken storys around the campfire until 2 am. Some of my best, but very vague memories are from drunken camping trips.

Our cops don't use helibirds but they do have those infared goggles so if someone runs away in the woods they can catch up and catch you, especially if you're drunk.

The cops in my area are cracking down big time. There's this group, I forget what it's called, but some students join it and basically tell the cops where the parties are going to be that weekend.

Another thing the cops are doing is going on MYSPACE. Yes, that's right, MYSPACE. It can really fuck you over. The school district got pictures of kids drinking, printed them off, and sent them to the kids parents. Happened to a good friend of mine. How ridiculous is that?

But anyways, I think mountain parties rock. Some of the best parties I've been to have been at camps.

I honostly don't know what police department has enough funding to fly around cesnas and bust underage drinking with military thermal imaging equiptment. Police departments around here can't even get enough funding to give every officer a kevlar vest.

It's fucking crazy. I didn't think they could do it, but it's hard to go to a party without worrying about it getting busted, because so many of them do. So gay. I guess bigger parties could cause problems, but sometimes I think it can go too far. So what if I had a few beers? I'm not driving, I'm not hurting anyone but myself.

Yeah, I know. No matter what you say or do, it's still illegal, you just have to make that choice as whether to risk it or not. Still, it's kind of shitty. Oh well, part of drinking underage is the 'rebel' factor, the fact that you're not supposed to be doing it. For some odd reason, it makes it more fun for me. Then again, I don't drink very much. I only get 'drunk' once a month maybe. I'm in college too, so mountain parties aren't my only option anymore.
