"Happy Place"

does anybody here have a "happy place" (happy gilmore) where they go when they need a break from everything? theres a lake by my house with a lot of woods surrounding it and no body really goes there except in the afternoon. so ill usually fish there for a couple hours in the morning, not really caring if i catch anything. just thinking. any1 else have a place like or know what im talking about?

on my skateboard or skis. Nothing else in the world makes me chill out anymore then those two items and when I'm on/doing something with them. When I ski, I care about nothing else in the world or what is going on in my life.

when i go for long rides on my road bike. when im around mile 40 or so, i feel really relaxed and in tune with myself and my body. its just me and my bike. nothing else matters in the world, just us

if theres snow il just go and ski by my self in some secluded run or go on my bike to some relativly unknow trail. If i want a week like that i hop in my truck and go out to my summer house, theres really no one there till mid july

on the mountain.. any place with snow..especially on the chairlift if im on it by myself... ill just zone out and think about how lucky i am to be there and how much i love skiing

and in the summer after we wakeboard ill just chill in our boat in my yard after im done cleaning it and everything ill just kinda sit there and think

i made this tree house out of massive peices of plywood and rope when i was like 12 and i still go sit out in it. its so calm when u're above everything. and if i get pissed i can chuck berries and shit down at people

dead silence in the bc, or on a canoe trip, 100's of miles away from cities, or biking in the deep woods. just being in complete silince, hearing no trafic or anything of the likes, just me and the outdoors, and some friends

first off i have to say.. happy gilmore is hte best movie in the world.. (in my opinion).

my happy place is just like this thread states, going off to a forest.. just to relax.. chill.. dont care what i do.. anything in cottage country works the best. or like go out fishing for the day.. and just go one on one with mother nature.
