hey this is another rant. i tihnk ill make a blog, o well. has anyone noticed that slopestyle runs are starting to only get judged by how good your airs are and not so much your rail skills at all. and even if it has a rail percentage part of the score, its either really small or you just have to at least hit the rail. i think it should be more fifty fifty, like if you just straight slide every rail but pull dope shit of the jumps then you still only get a 50 ya know, but if you throw nosepresses and tailpresses and 360 sw up on the rails and unnatural 7 and cork 9 and a bunch a other dope shit it would be come way more fun to watch cause you know that on every trick they are going for it. oh yeah this is annoying to me because my resorts main park only has jumps no rails.
I disagree 100%. It depends on the skier to say airs are harder than rails, look at Theed. But yea I think they should start looking more into on how they score rails.

the comps in this area man are very amature... for our level style really isnt a factor anymore... plus most peopel wood complain if they judged by style
(if ben's 450 didnt win at the rail jam even tho it was ugly as hell and my switch on did everyone wood be pissed at the judges lol)
exactly... giving it to the hucked trick versus the more styley stuff.. thats the point.. most people on here say if it isnt stylie no matter how tech it is it shood never win... but that doesnt really work with am comps
they dont do this because the rails come first adn thres only like 2 and thers usually like 4 jumps(x games) there are other rails inthere but you cant hit them to if you want to hit the jump. it wouldnt be as smooth.
Rails shouldn't be placed higher or equal to jumps because with jumps there is just more going on. With rails there's less emphasys on style, grabs, natural and unnatural spinning... it's just easier to leave it were it's at.

yeh thats tru...you guys cant just say that the most progressive run wins...doing a switch 270 on, bs 360 switch up, 270 off is harder than a leading broken...therefor should be judged that way...but yes i do realize there are always exceptions.

dude from what I've noteced all the slopestyle runs r pretty much the exact same as the other persons so it is about how the grab is held and how long and the amount of air cuz there is little to seperate style on rails
