this one time i was at church and it was before it had started so i was bored, and i tried to see how long i could go. i got into this state of total relaxation and had to stop at 90 seconds because church was starting, but i could've gone longer. it was sweet.

when you get into that state of mind your heart rate slows down and allows you to hold your breath longer

whatever you do, dont breath in and out really fast to hold your breath
when you do that you shoot the CO2 levels down in your blood, and the co2 tells your brain when to breath. So say you run out of oxygen at 1 min but you sent your co2 levels down farther then they should have so your brain doesnt recognize that you have to breath. While youve ran out of oxygen your brain cells are dying and you can pass out or get brain damage.

3:25 Seconds...Bored on a ski trip van ride, I didnt pass out either. And if you hyperventilate more than three times you run a high risk of passing out without feeling out of breath.
So if your free diving dont hyperventilate too much because if you pass out underwater...
Thats what I learned scuba diving anyways.

High levels of CO2 in the blood is what triggers your body to breath. Hyperventilating yourself before you hold your breath will give you more time without breathing, but it's not dangerous unless you're in water. As soon as you pass out, you will begin to breath on your own again. You will not get brain damage from this. (unless you're under water)

the best is when you bend over and hyperventilate and then you get your friend to push something on your neck and you start passing out and seeing shit. When I did it I was like hearing the conversation but it was like I wasnt in the room, sooo weird

HA! beat you i've done 2:30.. it was hard but i managed to do it... but i have been testing to see how long i can hold my breath for a few years liek i remember i used to be albe to only do like 30 secconds, then one day i was liek i'm egonna hold my breath for as long as i can then i managed to hold it for liek 1:30 then a bit more then a bit more and so on, now my average is about 2:30 if i go all out.. but by that point i'm like fuck gotta breath, haha

yeah, you need to get rid of co2 more than you need to get oxygen. Co2 poisoning is what kills you.
I've held my breathe for 3 minutes(hyperventalating really helps). no joke. I could prob do longer.

you're just trying to get people to pass out arent you? cause i knwo that if you hyperventalate, then hold your breath then hold your neck you pass out... trust me i've dont it.. once in class(by the way funny as shit) and i woke up everyones staring at me i'm laying on the floor... i get up like nothing happened and another time i did it at home and i smoked my head on a magazine rack and i had a head ache for like 3 hours even after taking tylonol

u pass out coz ur body wants to protect these brain cells... So passing out is just a way to save ur cells. Its also when u are sporting so hard u will first get cramp if u dont listen to these signals and go further than effentialy u will pass out, its just a safety thing

i never sayed it wasnt possible, but im guessing this kid doesnt han around with high class athletes. They people that can hole their breath for that long are like olympic class athletes
