New dslr help
posted this in the photo cult, but I'll give it a shot here.
I've looked through the threads and I've found some help, but not totaly what I'm lookin for.
-I have a Konica fp-1 (film) which I LOVE and shoot with alot and I also have a fujifilm s5100 which is Ok, but I hate the fact that I can't focus with the lense.
I'm lookin to get a new body for my birthday (lenses I'll get on my own) and I'm curious to what you guys prefer for a good dslr body for somebody who's been shootin for a few years, knows his way around a film slr and wants a solid camera (body) for under 1000 bucks. PLEASE tell me what you like about the camera too, simple one word answers won't help me.
If you need more info to help, lemme know.
Money's clean cause we scrub it good. With guns and gasoline we're gonna save the world. Nothing's obscene if we only close our eyes, boys and girls, welcome to this Joyride. -dmb
When buying a digi SLR, get Canon and never look back. The 20D is a good cam because it has 6fps (I think?) and it's 8 megapixels so thats sick.
Hungry Sloth Productions
"i just watched the movie. what a mind fuck."
-SlalomStar on Donnie Darko
5fps and 8.3 mp
I have a digital rebel, and the only thing i dont dig about it is its a little bit small, and the sequencing is slow (3fps)
All times are Eastern (-4)
