Look what i "found"

so i stole this like 10ft rail from a church thats beeing dimolished. i think it was a good find but does anyone have any suggestions on how i should put a base on it so it can stand up. im probably gonna cut like the bottom half off so it will be like 2 feet or something high but theres one problem 2 of the welds have broke so how can i fix that? im gonna cut the like little turn thing at the end off to

i dont know how you could fix the welding, but you could always just bury it in the ground a couple feel to hold it steady

actually the welds are only half broken. like theres still half of the tube welded to it so do you think i should be good or should i borrow like a sawdering iron and a shit load of sawder from my school and see if that will do anything cause i have no clue how to weld and i dont have the resources so

buy some steel base plates, the go to your local redneck party and just shout the word "welding" you will probably get 20-30 kids come over to talk to you just because you said the magical word. then ask one of em to do it up for you. they can probably fix the fucked up welds to as well as put on some quality base plates for you.

This idea is possibly worse than stealing from a church. Trusting SOLDER to support your body weight? Solder can't even hold to pennies together with any strength. What you need is to go back to the church and steal a welding kit from the men that were "like demolishing" it. Then once you fix the rail, you should bring it back to the church to redeem your sin. MAYBE if you see it in a dumpster a few days after you returned it, then you might be able to take it, but from how its sounding from the way you described it, they aren't taking down the church, they are just reburbishing it, in which case they need their rail back.

are you kidding me they have taken down at least 70 percent of the building there is just like 3 walls standing. and my freind has a rail that he solderd and it works fine. well thats what he says. mind you hes an idiot and probably doesnt know the difference between soldering and welding

there is a huge diff between sodering and welding.. soddering is used to fuse wires togeather and shit.. no way it will hold that ail back togeather.. if u really wanna fix it get a welder or go to a shop and have someone do it for u.. mig welders go around 300 for all the stuff needed with them (aceddline gas tank and mask and shit) but if ur in to makin shit get one.. welding is dope and u wil def be able to fix it.. but otherwise id say fuck that ail if u cant weld it up

you could just take it to a weilders shop and have a base put on it. But sence you took if from a church your going to hell, actually worse. You will be caught in a place in between thats way worse, its a season inbetween winter and summer. Also know as spring where you can do nothing fun cause the snow is all gona but its to slick to go skate
