im about 5'10 and a half and im riding 169 Pes, does anyone else feel like they have more control on shorter skis like up to the top of your nose? jw

i find in the air shorter skis are like yeaaaaaaah but i seem to like longer skis like around 175 and im only 5'6

yeah i am about 5'10'', i have a pair of 167 scratches and 185 ARV's, the ARV's feel just as good as the scratches do control wise

Im 5'7-8" and i have 180 and 183, i weigh more than most newschool skiers (cause i fucking rock) and i love the size, so perfect.

shorter skis are more maneuverable but longer skis are more stable....giving you more control

i'm 5'10 and had 169 pe's for a season. pretty dope, but i stepped it up to 182s this year, and you get so much more speed. no butters happenin though. wayyyy more style in the grabs

i'd say if your gonna ski park only it's about preference. i used to own 167 chronics and they were a great for park really manouverable (i'm 5'8). this last season i stepped it up to 177 chronic wides (more my size) and they absolutely owned... specially for my type of riding 40%park 60%allmtn. so yeah, it all depends on preference and what you are gonna ride.
