New radio Stream

Yup, I got a radio stream now.

It runs exactly like the current NS radio but mine is just a second stream.

If your interested in listening to it for a bit, its the second stream at https://newschoolers.com:8000

Its just my tunes on random (same as normal NS radio). Its limited right now because i lost my tunes in a reformat but i'll be taking suggestions and adding tunes myself.

It is unstable right now though, might cut out for a second or drop the stream but if it does, you should be able to reconnect within 5 seconds.

Be patent with it!

I've got an ethernet going into my laptop now instead of wireless. Seemed to help.

I like it a lot ryno, especially because you have the names of the songs when they are being played, something that NS radio lacks.

The reason NS radio doesn't show the names is because the NS radio is run off a Linux COmputer.

I run mine off my own windows based laptop and the Oddcast says the names of the songs if its Windows.



Yes, i took it down for a couple hours because i didnt think anyone was listening.

Right now im streaming the new Red Hot Chilli Peppers CD for anyone that is interested. Its quite good. I'll stream it for the night and tomorrow i'll stick it back on random.


I wish i could get a button like NS radio over on the side though, that would be rad!
