Is there any reason that NS does not have an option to remeber user on login? It would be pretty handy. I might be making this up but didn't there used to be that option?

That option is there. If you have IE it only seems to work if you go to a different website and come back within a half an hour. If you close off the internet and re-open, it doesn't always work.
