Apple Fucked Me Over!

Ok...so basically, I got an Ipod Video, it didn't work properly, so I sent it back, and they sent me the same fucking ipod with updated software...so now I have to send it back in hopes that they will actually DO something about it...has anyone else had shitty experiences like this with Apple?

took me 3 weeks to receive a shipping box to send my broken ipod back to apple and then another 3-4 weeks to get it back. I'd say that's pretty shitty too.

one of my homies had a third generation. he purposely broke it when the photo ones came out. they sent him a photo one, no questions asked. when the video ones came out he broke his photo on purpose. they sent him a video, no questions asked. he loves apple

i just sent my ipod photo back to them, it came back to me a week later (ie yesterday) and they basically just gave me a new ipod photo and not the video. it takes a few trys to select songs every now and then but maybe i just need to wear it in? lol

ive had three broken ipods when i did absolutly nothing to break them...now my warantee is up and if it breaks again im screwed

i have had a 3 gen one for 3 years now and the only problem is i had to change the battery a few months back.


The video's seem to be breaking left right and center though. 4 of my buddies in rez got em and all 4 broke, 2 of em broke again

I have a 4th gen U2 ipod and i have only had a problem of it pausing after you play a song, and only some times, but i still have the same one 2 4 3 years, the older ones are higer quality than the new ones.

had to send my laptop in 4 times, 3 at personal fault.. one just fault part... have gotten it back within 2 days each time and also was always no questions asked totally worked... very good service for sure.

if you buy an iPod, they probably dont care that much. If you bought a computer they give a shit. They are a computer company who has raped the music industry with some luck and a lot of good timing.

i sent my ipod back on a wed got it back on a mon. pretty sure it was either a brand new one or atleast refurbished but it still works great.

Always buy apple products directly from Apple and buy the extended warranty.

I've been buying stuff from them since (well, my parents) 1986. They're incredible w/repairs if you're not a prick to them on the phone.

I've had about 10 repairs with them (I do work for other people so they're not all my machines) and it's only once taken more than a week to get the hardware back. I, honestly, think they keep a record of how you treat their tech support b/c all my friends who have short tempers never get Apple to repair their stuff. I've had water pour down into my G3 monitor before and they fixed it, no questions asked.

I was just on my second mini... then IT broke so i just sent that in... i was told that it could take up to 6 weeks! but now my warranty is with futureshop... so thats why..

i've had to warranty mine at the apple store several times, and they seem to always get new shipments of refurbished 3rd gens, or they offered me like 100 store credit and im like fuck that i paid 400 for this.

Yeah I am sooo fucking pissed I finally dropped the ball and picked up a 30 gig ipod video. I open it up, turn it on, and the frowning ipod face is permanently stuck on it. BOOOOOOO! Now I have to send the fucker back and it will be atleast another 2 weeks. SLUTS

go to the fuckin' store, this isnt dell.

the store will literally replace the unit on-site. my friend broke his and they simply gave him a new one after analyzing it for under an hour.

You do realize that Apple stores aren't like walmarts right? The closest Apple store for me (that I know of) is 4 hours away.

When mine finally broke, they sent me the box within 3 days, and I sent it in, and I got a brand new iPod in my hands in under a week.

mine broke, i took it back to the store and because it was a month over the 1 year warrenty they told me that there was nothing they could do eventhough my ipod just stoped working for no reason. i was pissed, very very pissed.

yeah, ive gone through 4 iPods.
i didnt get a photo though i just have the black and white one.
it sometimes sounds like its going to explode.
and some songs dont play completely.
it's stupid.

Maybe you got a defective one? I know a couple of people with Powerbooks or iBooks and they love them. Maybe you just dont like the Mac software ?

Hey I had that problem with my old one soooo ghey!! I hate it. I just got so frusterated with it one day that I threw it across the room at our brick wall. It would like start playing a song, play one second of it, then play the next song, play one second of it, etc...etc...etc.... SOOO WEAK.

i couldn't get a bit of help when my brand spankin new dual g5 fucking self exploded for no reason. i was pissed they are supposed to have the best customer service, it took me about a week to get on the phone with an actual person, who spoke english, and knew one thing about how computers work.

i broke my nano in the winter, not really sure waht happened, all of a sudden the screen was punctured and it worked but i just couldnt see the majority of the screen. The key is to have your mom go into the apple store. My mom went in and the guy said she were a kid he wouldn't replace it because all the kids mistreat them, but he replaced it for free for my mom, i only had the warrantee that the ipod comes with, i hadn't bought any extended stuff

i have a rio cali and it hasnt broken ever... its been submerged in water dropped while riding a bike dropped while carrieing it and it only cost 50$$ and it holds 70 songs.. pretty good deal i think

ive had a friend whos on his 4th ipod. both because of his own fault and some just stopped working. everytime he just takes it into the apple store and they gave him a new one right there. im pretty impressed. they just took his, put it under the desk and gave him a new one. weird but awesome.

you really can't complain when the thing is past warranty and it breaks and they won't give you a new one. when you buy it you shouldn't expect it to last longer than the warranty expiration date...there is a reason they have 'em.

listen guys, if you truly want something reliable CD Players last years without getting fucked up as long as you take care of them

Fuck that, buy a turntable instead.But seriously, I've had an Ipod of every generation since the one with the 4 buttons,  I had to warranty every single of them but Apple was very prompt on the sending and returning. I love Apple.

i got a mac book 3 weeks later HUGE amount of pixels die, called apple, they gave me a number( the repair number so you can track the progress) 3 weeks later and i havent herd or seen anything from anyone at apple........... better happen soon
