Look p12's or Salomon 810ti's
OK so i just got my new skis tonite thalls in 176 and im in a debate over which bindings to get i no the pro shop guy pretty well and i told him i wanted to get some look p12's and he suggests the salomon's id like to hear what u guys have to say and if u have any other bindings that would be better please mention
how much do you weigh? how hard do u ride.. salomons are meh.. there VERY light which is a big plus, but if your on the heavier side or your a really hard rider salomons arent that durable until higher models
the looks on the other hand are solid bindings for sure.. i wood say lean towards them unless your lighter and the salomons are cheaper
Watermelon is fricking amazing!
salomon 810 are a big no no. skied them when i was a kid.(90lbs). they prereleased on EVERYTHING and when i say everything i mean everything. bumps, jumps, groomers, trees. looks are for sure a safer, better binding.
p12s i love my p12 jibbys
i weigh 140-145 i am leaning more towards the looks
get the looks
"Do you work at subway? cuz you'd give me a footlong."
-Skiing is the shit!
i bet they would prerelease getting off the chair at your weight.
if you want doom, get 810s. if you want something much much better, get the p12s
whats a site that sells the p12's cheap in black or grey
wen i went to the dynastar website it said look px12 and evry1 is talkin about look p12 r they the same thing?
no.. p12 is the older pivot design.. px12 is the new design.. both good.. differnet people have different oppionions... both are excellent tho

i've had both, and i see no real difference, other than the boner part of the p12s hurt your ass if you land backseat, and the plastic breaks off real easily. some people have complained about the wings of the salomon bindings giving them trouble, but as long as you have the right binding (din range) for your ability and what you're going to be doing, and have them adjusted properly, you shouldn't have any problems..
'trapped in yourself, break out instead. beat that machine that works in your head.'
Look px12's are solid bindings and rarely have bad reviews, on the other hand the salmon 810's have been pretty iffy. I've heard that if you have them setup right by a tech that knows what hes doing than they can be great lightweight binding. But if they dont fit your boot perfectly then you're going to be in pre-release hell.
