Getting banned from mountains...

I was riding the lift at Nashoba Valley, MA, on Tuesday, and my friend's ski falls off. I get off the lift and get to the ski before he does, ski down a little ways, and put it on the ground facing downhill, thinking that the brakes will stop the ski from impaling any small children. Apparently, this ski's brakes are defective, as in; they no longer exist. The ski runs away at a million-jillion miles per hour, and smashes into a slalom gate at the bottom of the hill, breaking it, then flies more than 25 feet in the air, does a misty 7, and lands, finally stopping under a double chair. I was laughing my ass off, but Betsey (yes, with an extra 'E') apparently didn't. Betsey, for those fortunate number of you who have never ridden Nashoba, is a completely anal, menopausal, evil, sadistic patroller who doesn't use poles. The day before, I had seen her screaming at a 6-year-old kid at the top of the lift. The kid was sitting on the snow, crying, and she was standing over him yelling, 'I do this for a living, and no pipsqueak like you is going to mess up my day for me!!!!!!!' Then she chucked his skis about 50 yards into some bear-infested woods, realized they were rentals, and risked her own life for the sake of a pair of NASHOBA-OWNED skis. Anyway, back to my story. So, Betsey freaked out, whatever, no big deal. I come back today, Wednesday, and find that I am in totally deep shit. I am no longer allowed to race with my school at Nashoba and Betsey is all set to call the athletic director at my school. I saw her today, and out of the blue, from absolutely NOWHERE, she pulls this accusation out of her ass that I was trying to kill some coach from another school, or something. She took my name and some others' in this little lebian-notebook she has, and tried to steal my friend's skis. She tried to get me banned for life, but she didn't succeed. Then, the coach whom I had supposedly tried to kill (whom I had never seen before) walked up and punched me with his chin.

complain to management about the patroller.
Threaten to sue the guy that hit you, make him sort all this shit out with your school if he bails take his ass to court and make him pay. Just assume a fake identity in the mean time and keep riding at your mountain and talk to your athletic supervisor and explain the whole thing to him. Surely he/she is going to believe and be more sympathetic if you tell him what went on instead of some physco patroller, get your parents to ring him/her up as well. You'll be let back into the team in no time. If all fails, burn your resort down, frame the patroller and sabotage the lift so that they have a massive accident, have to pay out a shit load and wont ever open again due to soring insurance costs

yea dude, wtf, is that, just dont ski their for a while, write to like the owner claiming you were like mentally traumatized by the experiance and are making sure you nor know one you know every skis there again, the owner will normally get all defensive and give you lots of free shit

heres what you do. Complain your ass off. I had a 'safty patroll' guy named andy yell at me and my friends about a week or two ago for taking our skis in the base lodge at stratton. He was swearing up a storm and threatining to take our passes. so after the whole incident was over and down with, you know what i did? i went and talked to his boss. I complained my ass off, and what happend? he was told that if he ever botherd me or my friends againd, no matter what we did, he would get fired and permenitly banned from stratton for the rest of the season. so, if this coach did hit you, and he is employed by the mountain, my advise to you is to go talk to who ever the Genral Manager of the mountain is. and as far as the ski patroll lady goes, talk to the Genral manager about that too. thats the last thing that any ski resort needs, its employees yelling at paying costemers. if you do a good job at complaining, my guess would be that you dont see eather of these two on the hill any more, they eather get there asses fired or stuck doing kitchen duty to save there jobs.

and as far as the kid who says the hit the guy back, never hit a employee of a mountain. Ski resorts have very, very good lawers that can put your ass away for little things like that. just let the employee do his thing, and try and get as many people to see it, then report it.

Haha, I was being sarcastic about the chin thing, which I guess doesn't really work unless you've seen him. Because I think he actually might be able to control his chin, sort of like an extra arm or something. And not only was the ski nowhere near him, but he started running TOWARDS it when he saw it flying down the hill.

I got banned from Greek Peak last week for 'jump building.' If you've ever been to greek, their terrain park is 3 crappy rails and 2 mounds of snow, that are supposed to be tables. I was about 10 feet off the terrain park trail, and me and my friend had this big thing going with a ten foot flat and a nice steep landing. So some fat patroller with a mustache comes flying up on his snowmobile, gets off, and charges at us. He starts swearing up a storm and tells us to take it down. So we started bitching back at him, and my friend startes pissing on the jump. Anyway, they ganked both of our season passes. I'm not going back even after our banned period is up...

go over to there some time and wait at the top of the lift line, then when she comes pop her ski off and just take it and ski down the mountain, then throw it into sokmething, like woods or preferably a lake, and then hop in your car and drive away

ok, a few days ago my friend posted on midwest skier asking for a pass to borrow to mt. bohemia. he was going to scan it for one day and use it, because he didnt have the cash to ski, so a bunch of kids start asking him to make them cascade and tyrol passes and they said they'd pay him. somehow the resorts found out about it and called his house. after a long conversation they decided that he would be banded from all wisconsin ski resorts for life, even though he never made any thing. They said it was a threat, which i can understand, but i think he shouldnt be banned for life, maybe a year or something.

Yeah, I saw that kid asking for a pass to copy. If he didn't make anything yet, they shouldn't have punished him. It's just like I got punished because something 'hypothetically' could have gotten damaged, but didn't. Obviously they don't distinguish between reality and possibility.

ah haa, that's a great story. Something like that happened to me the other day. I 'dropped' something of the lift, so i had to drop down and go get it. It just so happened I dropped down into some decent pow that had a nice line to ski out, so i had to ski down. patrollers got a little mad.

betsy aint all that bad, in my 4 years at nashoba i have never seen here harass little kids and steal their skis. i know thats bullshit. dont get me wrong though i hate that bitch and actually talked to Al Fletcher (owner of nashoba) about gettn her fired, he said it was above his power cuz hes afraid shell sue (being 1 of 2 ski patrol and she is only doin her job most of the time) Yeah everyone hates her and she bosses the shit out of the other ski patrol but shes got a good side. she lets me fuk around with the jump. when its not too crowded she sez 'make it nice and big so the outlook returant gets entertainment' Shes more likely to let me fix the jump then asking other patrol (cuz they lazy and when i ask her she makes them go down to help) the guy to watch out for is the one that is so fat he is in the shape of a soccer ball. he tries to be the big guy and makes up random shit (then sez sorry) just keep an eye out for betsey, after a while avoiding her becomes a natural instinct.

my buddy did, they sent out email and phone calls to all of them. its not going to keep him from going to them but it will make it harder to get passes

Well that's understandable, I mean he could have really hurt someone, most likely himself, skiing backwards like that. Skis are not made to go backwards.

skyeordye, i dont thin u realize the full anger that betsey gives to anyone whos not an instructor, last year I and about 30 other people witnessed her HIT a 9 year old snowboarder witha METAL shovel who was trying to get one last hit on a jump we had made. that lady is completely out of her mind and is a danger to anyone out to have a good time skiing, she kicked two instructors out for the day last friday for swinging the chairlift, not only that but one time she made me stand ontop of the hill for 10 min thinking about my actions, after i tried to enter a trail that had just been freshly groomed, and the ropes were already being removed, that lady has issues



eat at least 4 bannanas a day to help with your gorrila steeze
