To explain all this stuff would take for ever so ill just give you a taste of the wild ideas theortical physics has created.
According to quantum mechanics, discovered in the 60's, matter has the ability to exist in to places at once. For example the chair you are sitting in now being in two seperate places at once, not two chairs, the same chair in tow places at once, there is a difference. But the world we percieve is a singular one with things existing in a given place and time. Here is where the theory comes in.
Some physicists belive that matter in its real form is the result of conscious perception. Like the atom creates the molecule creates the compound, that upward causation of axioms can also function in reverse; a completly new concept. Some believe that when you turn your back on reality it exists not as a singular entitiy but as a range of possibilities. Quite litterally when you turn your back on the chair, it is existing in all states at once, a veritable vortex of incoherent matter. Only when a conscious observer casts focus onto matter does it snap into the singular reality, common to our experience.
So look. I feel as though the reality in which we live is endlessly more complicated than we could possibly imagine. FlyingSpoon if you believe that you can find greater truth in some reality (or halucination) apart from our own then fine. Enjoy your enlightenment.
If that is truth, then so be it. I'm just going to stick to what i feel is provable. I didn't think that a rant about one of the most annoying gameshow hosts of all time would piss people off so bad.
