I'll probably be going this spring semester. I'm a freshman at Canisius College in Buffalo and they are kinda similar schools. I went out last spring to "visit" but I did more skiing than I did visiting. But I did visit one day and it really is a nice little school in Salt lake. Mountains all around, Salt Lake isn't bad I like it there.
The skiing is awesome, and this program seems really cool, and it won't ruin your resume, it may actually help it.
Oh, and I can do that for the same price I'm paying for a semester at my home school?? That's a good value if you ask me....
i wanted to do it so bad, but once i realized that i could do it...it was too late cuz i have to do a year long internship next year, which is my sr year so i wont have time to, which sucks,....so my advice is do it!!! have you talked to anyone from the school?? call and talk to someone!!
I just got done with the semester... and it was one of the sickest times of my life! You get hooked up with two season passes to resorts within 30 minutes of school and since there isn't school on fridays you all go to a new resort (or backcountry) every friday. The sweet thing about Salt Lake is that if you want powder, you ski the cottonwoods, if you want park you ski park city, and if you want urban, just wait a few days and you have a city to tap. Its a sweet program and you make sweet friends.
