Softening a hard pair of boots

Hey guys, i bought these new boots but they are just too hard for me. Anyone know how i can soften them because i am pretty hard up so i don't want a shop to do it.

hahaha, you wanna be a lil more technical than that. and, all boots are a bit different, but the basics are takin out some of the plastic that controls the flex. if they are salomons, there are little plug things near the upper cuff pivot, and you can take those out. but the best way, is to pull the boot apart as much as you can, take the liner out, and figure out what controls the stiffness of the boot, and remove some of it untill you get the flex you want. besides, ahop wont touch that kinda stuff, cause it voids the warrenty. but why not just return them? i mean, didnt you try them on before you bought them?
