I think SkiGameMaker will be more than fine for making the graphics for the next version of Jibberish, from what I've seen he has 3ds Max pretty dialed, but that graphic you made is sick.

It looks pretty sweet. Good work man. Colors are sleek, and it is intriguing. To answer your question, I think I know what's missing. It's missing an object of interest.

You should make some flying tentacle creature coming out of it/dragon/space ship or something.
That way it'll add depth and create the point of interest. Right now, it's just a place without a theme/meaning/ or something to tie it all together.

Whatever works. You wouldn't have to create a whole new 3d render for it. I can think of about 10 different things you can do pretty simply using photoshop.

Even if you didn't want to spend time on making something blend in with the background you could put something like a machine/robot/alien's face in the foreground of the picture quickly with photoshop.

i agree with GD...doesnt have to be anything complex...just needs something in the forground to give it depth, focus. could be as simple as some defined particle matter or something to give it the idea of depth and objects coming towards you, and not just spreading side to side like a backdrop
