It does work, but you get sub-par quality recordings...even the original wmv's sound like shit if you have some high end stereo stuff. Drums sound like splashing symbols...and that's the most annoying part.
It use to be that there was a winamp plugin that'd reroute the audio to wav format, but they pulled it off their site. Then, someone figured out a hack to get it through another mp3 player software, but only with certain versions. About a week later all updates and licensing checks killed the export to wav functions...now you're SOL.
p.s. this was when Napster to go was first out and had a free 14 day trial period.
