Diving Board Tricks

what types of tricks can u do off a diving board.. jsut like a normal size one for an everyday backyard pool

i can:
front flip
back flip
front flip 180
lincon loop
900
and then just some retarded things

front, back, misty 5,7,almost 9 (hurt really bad when i tryed that) cork 7, cork 9, then i tryed a lincoln and almost hit my head and the teacher kicked me off the diving board (we had free time durring swimming, not a sping board) oh yeah and the backs and corks i did standing on the end, not gainer

i did springboard diving in high school, its pretty much the shit. I didnt make it to State Finals though...

i can misty 5 and 7 both ways, mist 9 natural, switch misty 7-1080, licoln both ways. underflip, underflip 360, gainer, flatspin/rodeo 5-7, one and half, back 180, switch cork 5, switch rodeo(inward misty), inward dive...

lincoln, misty 7, backs, fronts, corks....when i was at the diving board last time, this 6 year old cute asian girl came up to me in the changing room and told me i was really good. it was probably the greatest thing ever.

good luck on the double lincolns on a normal size diving board (few feet off the ground)

I guess if you really huck yourself hard enough you can pull it around, but you should save it for 15+ foot drops and higher.

Lots of stuff. I like super slow lincolns off high dives though. I have a friend who can throw brany back off a high dive (front 180 into a backflip).

Whats really fun is to run to the end of the board like you are going to flip or something but like 3 feet do a 180 so you land at the end of the board backwards and do a backflip and keep the spin so u do like a 360 backflip

they won't let you do it at most pools (so do it at the end of sesh when you are leaving anyways) but doing combos on the diving board is rad. busting little 360s or backflips on the board before your tricks is a gnarly element to try.

and for the ultimate diving board, check this pic.
it goes from 7m at high tide to to 10m at low tide. and there are phosphorescents there at night. there is also a rope swing of equal height there. and a dope ass 10 man hammock. yes, the west coast does slay the east.

indoor diving boards are fun an all, but i just regard them as training for high diving off cliffs. and something cool i've done before is having a trampoline into the ocean. that was pretty sweet.

i'm moving into a new house with an inground pool pretty soon (the pool probably won't be operational until next summer though, work to be done, it can also be skated, awesome) and i also have two trampolines to combo it up with. i'm hoping to combo in a roof drop and patio transfer as well.

rope swings are way rad too. its killer when you swing them around in a big ellipse, you can get insane types of corks like that.

i kinda feel sorry for the lifeguards when i go to the pool. my crew is pretty burly with our tricks and we like to play horse too. plus when we leave we like to go out with style and usually do some sort of stunt to get us kicked out... the stories i could tell you. not to mention we usually sneak in. another reason why cliff jumping is better, it's free. though often illegal in some spots. c'est la vie...

the flying squirrel? i've seen it before as a gainer where you grab both ankles and tweak to an arched back and dive in head first still holding you ankles. that's a rad move.
