LINE and Jason Levinthal

Me and my bro Joe(Joemuench) decided that our summer wasn't going anywhere fast so we packed a quick bag and left from the boiling heat of Long Island to go to Burlington, Vermont on a road trip.
Our main objective: visit LINE skis. We got there on 20 dollars worth of dunkin donuts, an 8th of some super dank nugs, and 7 hours of driving. After talking to some locals we found out the whereabouts of the factory and headed over there.
We arrived in the cramped out office space with much surprise. The LINE coorporate office was tucked away in some industrial park amongst a spa, a restaraunt, and some other oddball businesses, but it was rad. The first thing we see when we go in are all of next years skis, some posters hangin up, a few cubicles and lots of other random skiing shit everywhere; many of the stuff was from the original line of skiboards and twin tips, and we also got to see the rare prototype prophets, very sick might I add. So we meander in and find some guy at a copy machine with a look of bewilderment on his face, we state our cause and he goes and bring out the man himself jason levinthal. we told him our story about how we drove all the way to burlington just to peep the LINE building and he was super stoked. Jason showd us all of next years stuff, and showed us the new catalog and gave us a tour of the office and we met all the awesome people at LINE. He also gave us mad free shwag which included like 50 little stickers, some new stickers that haven't come out yet, wallets, hats and bandanas, mad legit. Then he gets the scoop on our local ski shop that deals with LINE and he wants to eventually tour to places all over the east and hold rail jams, and wants to have one by us in the parking lot of the shop with some team riders.
Basically Jason Levinthal is the man and so is his company, support LINE and support skiing. With Jasons permission we'll scan this catalog and put up some of the more notable pages, I'm out.

One time I wanted a bunch of stickers... so I emailed them asking for some... yeah and they sent me an envelope packed to the brim with them. I was stoked. Other companies probably wouldn't have given me the time of day.

Yay LiNe! .. Damn I want my invaders!! argh!

o with the update with his profile while we were there the graphic designer was constructing images and such for it so look forward to seeing it up sometime.

Yo Jordon,

You can start liking LINE soon because the website is getting an absurd number of hours put into it right now and the new site is going to be dope, I saw a bit of it today.

And for the emails, its the interns job. Since its summer, chances are there's no intern in the office right now answering emails, if you have a question, pm me and I'd be happy to answer it.

yeh levinthal / line are cool

wrote to most ski companies looking for an R&D job as thats what i do and wanna combine my job with my fav. pastime; none of the big co's even replied but got a nice mail from line/jason - hey no job but at least he took the time!

because skiing needs and has a future

do you mean the mall on church street in the downtown area? if you do its only like 2-4 miles from there, it's in the city limits of burlington in an industrial park. And somebody asked me if we had to ask the burton guys where LINE was, we did ask because we went there as well and talked this dude Mike, they had no idea where LINE was though which surprised me.

Ya thats what i meant. That is where we stay when we cometo burlington and wanted to no how far of a walk we were going to have.

yeah i wouldn't reccomend walking from the mall all the way there, it's a hike dude.

Trust me we can handle it. last year we might have walked about ten miles in burlington.

ya that was me. The guy we asked, asked like everyone else working until one guy told us to drive 4 blocks north to Flyyn Ave. to the Spa & Photostudio office. To our luck it was closed.

this past feb. i was at the local winter trade show as usual checking out the booths and new gear for this upcoming season and at the line booth in Madison Wisconsin is Jay himself with the new rep. he came down here just to help the new rep out with the ropes. I got to talk with Jay that day and the next, my buddy earlier that week went into a coma from skiing and totally broke his skogens in the tragedy. I told Jay all about it and my buddy's getting new warrantied skis for next season and I asked if he could come with me to visit him in the hospital and he was but we ran out of time because of his fight back to vermont. He called my friend on his phone and left a message and wrote a little note and signature on next years catalog for my buddy. And my friend is doing just fine now. But wow, Jason really does care for the skiers.
