Fuck That
I was in Denver this past weekend for shows at Red Rocks and decided to swing by Jibij. Fucking closed, I am in town for 4 days and its only open on one of 3 days of the week that I am not in town. I had gone to their site to get the address and it said nothing about summer hours. I mean thats just shitty. This might have been the online time I got a chance to drive around Boulder and go to the store, but it was closed. Thanks yall, for wasting my time and gas.

I'm sorry that I assumed that at noon on a friday a store would be open, is that unreasonable. I understand that its summer and it is a ski store, a niche one at that, but in South Carolina (where I'm sure they get much less ski traffic then Boulder) is open for regular hours during the summer, and its fucking South Carolina! I mean, it is poor business practice to shut down except for one day a fucking week during the summer, and for informing their customers only with a photocopy hung on their door. Just shitty business.

wow BigJ you really are a douchebag. Every other shop I know of besides your redneck shit in South Carolina including the shop I work at are closed for a main portion of the summer, if not changed to selling some other product (ie. biking shit, kayaking, lawn furniture...). Josh has a pretty much single man operation down there, and for his time it would cost him more to be working there, or have someone else working there, when they wont really sell much. Plus, most of the stuff is sold out. It would be operating and losing money.

Right, I understand that... but I went on the website before driving to Boulder and saw nothing about summer hours. I mean, I don't expect to have to call ahead to see if the vast majority of stores that I go to are open, why is this different. I should of found out they were closed except for one day when I was on their website, but that information was not evident on the first page with the rest of the store information. I am on dial up here and don't have time to get into such a flash heavy site.

I don't mean to come off as an asshole, but i am offering criticism, and I find it poor that the summer store hours are not readily available with the rest of the store information on the jibij website.

If you go onto the first page of the flash site, the summer hours have been listed there all summer. The main site is an image map, which I don't have a clue how to change. That's all up to the web designer.
