Terrorist Bombs in London

This morning 6 or 7 bombs went off on Underground Trains, and one on a bus in Central London. Not sure at the moment how many, but there are confirmed fatalities.

Tony Blair has said it was a terrorist attack. Pretty scary, G8 summit is going on right now too.

Yesterday was an awesome day for London with winning the Olympics in 2012, today, not so good.

Oh yeah Apple good point, extreme muslims are great people. We are the ones who pissed them off and they have every right to come and blow up the world centers . I woke up and it was on the t.v, 33 people died and hundreds wounded, its a shock to everyone, al-queda is saying it was them and that scotland got a warning apperently minutes bfre it happened, they havent confirmed that yet but thats' what they say

Why is everyone dealing in absolutes? Not everything is one thing or the other. It's not JUST about religion. It's not JUST about covert military actions within countries like Saudi Arabia, Afgahnistan, and Pakistan. It's not just about freedom.

It's a complicated series of thousands of incidents that all relate to each other. Undoubtedly, they revolve around, at the very least, resources and territory and the CONTROL of them.

We should be exchanging information people, not arguing over this high-level media-convoluted crap.

No, I dont think that they have the right to do whatever the fuck they want, your putting words in my mouth that i never said. There are better ways. But I dont think we have the right to do whatever the fuck we want to them. we dont have the right to empose rules and regulations on them and put them into opression. Someone elses ideals forced upone someone, even if those ideals are peace and freedom, is still oppression. Im not saying that they have a perfect culture, in my view its far from it. 10,000 Iraqi civilans dead (in the name of freedom) vs. 3000 Americans and 50 or so Brits, that's how i can compare it. dig up the number of terrorist caused civilian deaths since the war started and the number of civilians killed in iraq, and I will compare those more accuretly.

And yes, I am fully aware the numbers are very rough and a civilian in iraq is sometimes a civilian who was fighting, but you get the point anyways.

Terrorists are the lowest forms of life on this planet. They don’t fucking discriminate who they kill. Whether it’s the Iraqi insurgents, Timothy McVeigh, or that piece of shit bin Laden. They’ll murderer innocent people for their sick little voices to be heard. It doesn’t matter if their American, politicians, solders, or even their own fucking people. Life has no value to these animals. They deserve no treatment that is considered just for human beings. They are worth less than that. Anybody who even thinks of sympathizing with them are also scum, and as far as I’m concord, can rot with them.

As for the religious stuff; I’m no Islamic scholar, but i do know that the Q'uran specifically prohibits the killing of innocent people:

“We decreed that anyone who murders any person who had not committed murder or horrendous crimes, it shall be as if he murdered all the people. And anyone who spares a life, it shall be as if he spared the lives of all the people.� (Quran 5:32)

That passage is the single most twisted and distorted by Islamic fundementalis all over the world. By simply being born in a westernized country you are the commiter of a “horrendous crime?� They are dog shit the lot of them, and I wouldent be sorry if they where wiped from this earth.

Why can't the leader of Islamic nations step up and say, “The Q'uran specifically prohibits the harming and killing of innocent people.�? Fuck them too. They are greedy isolationists that have no concern for anything outside their own control.

Religion not by any means the whole of the story either. If it’s a Holy War, why don’t they attack places like Mexico City or Sydney? It all about power and control. Always has been, always will be. Its extreamly complicated but no circumstances can condone the kind of actions terrorits groups execute.

How do you know this for sure? all that was was a theory made up by newscast. For all we know, this could have been a premature explosion of another bomb destined for the subway.

Secondly, the perpetrators are still unknown, though a group SUPPOSEDLY linked to Al Quaeda has claimed the bombings. This group has never been heard of, and ANYONE could have posted that claim, and there is nothing of yet to back it up. Now, i havent read the 2 and what has been poisted on this page, but just seeing the beginning pissed me off because everyone was misinformed.

Finally, there were only 4 explosions, and there is thought to be a 5th, unexploded bomb on a bus outside victoria's station.


All i can say was that i was scared shitless for my sister who lives in london, but, thank god, was in Shropeshire with her boyfriend. She is also a regular public transit system user, as is most of the London population.

I don't think the G* summit had anything to do with this. Supposedly, the big topic right now is Aid to Africa, a goal achieved through the live 8 concerts.

Much more probable is the IOC's decision to give London the games. Still, i'm not sure if this WAS in fact Al Quaeda. Hell, it COULD of been the IRA.... But the timing either way is perfect, the day after the city gets the games, the public transportation system gets shat on.

Here's some info on how Al-Quaeda works:

It is not a definite organization. Al Quaida (however you spell it) means "the network" in arabic. There are some specific regional groups that act on their own power and receive funds from Al Quaida. this is how Bin Laden can have such a large task force anywhere in the world, and why it is so hard to fight a war against them. This group that did the bombings is considered by the U.S. and other intelligence agencies to be under the umbrella of "the network.' So yes, i think that Al Quieda is in control here, and that they are trying to do the same thing to the UK as they did to spain.

Wrong, this group has never been heard of before. They have said on multiple news sources multiple times that the claims have not been backed. Its easy for people to just claim shit like this, its been done before, but i cant remember where.
