LORD OF THE PARK 2006.....
too much float in pow gets annoying cause you are riding the surface not floating through the gooduns, I skied utah great with 85mm width, although I did sink a bit, if I was skiing powder I would go for the maden AK or seth and those are like, what, 90-100, that seems like perfectly fat for pow, but if your shredding larger things it may give you more control for a fatter ski. Fat skis are fun to ride never the less.
'Its pretty sad when your penis is longer than the amount of air these little kids are bragging about.'
i think it just depends on the style of the rider if your into doing crossed up stuff dont get fattys but if you think that shot of pollard over that gangster ass table in hood is dope then get em its all about image dont you know that
i agree if you have to much float then are you riding powder or the top of powder i personaly like hauling and be kind of sucken in cuz thats the fun of it and when you carve its so cool i would think that if they get to wide then it would ruin that expierence
'kevin whyed nils pull you out?' 'Cuz i was touchin bitches.' 'No seriously why did he put scott in for you.' 'Scott doesn't touch bitches.'
It's almost like when you are skiing on skis that wide and floating on the surface of the deep powder, you might as well be skiing on powder 6 inches deep. It ruins the entire purpose and fun of cutting through powder. I think it's stupid and the only reason companies are doing it is because it's different, it's new, it's apparently the cool thing to follow and because it's another marketing technique to make another buck for the company. Well they can have their super fat skis. It's ruining skiing's dynamic and graceful appeal. after fat skis showed up, skiing have taken a weird turn in how it is performed. We went from hoping turns in the powder to just both feet on the ground swoopy turns. It's too easy.
my Made'N AKs are 108mm at the waist and I love them for pow. So Im gonna have to say that 110mm is fat enough. But I have never skiied the Prophets so I shalt not judge the performance, but I do think they look stupid though couse they're so fat.
I live in a place far far away, where on occasion the telly tubbies will come to play....and that's when Ma gets out the shotgun. Damn critters climb in our gutter system all the time.
