How do i get new codecs for windows media player?

i just got limewire pro (for free...) and im dl'ing some biking movies and some of them wont play, where can i get the newest codecs for WMP?

is there anywhere there where i can just download it all at once? i also installed the codecs update from microsoft.com but i still get the same message.

none of that shit works... especially tht mplayer, it sucks. the movie is a .avi if that makes a difference. ive tried the divx, and k lite, and the mplayer, nothing is working

i just tried it again, and when i try to open ANY file (even ones that normaly work for me), it just says that it has had an error and does that thing in xp where it asks if you want to send an error report.
