any way to make popped/ripped up blisters heal faster than just doing nothing to them? anybody who does crew knows the pain im going through. i might post some pics later to show you the level of aganoy im in.
Either one will make you stop thinking about the pain of the blister and make you think of the new pain that is creeping upon you.
A LESSON FROM A HARDCORE SMOKER:
if your really hardcore you can just smoke out of your hands. make a loose fist but keep your fingers together and pack the entire empty space in the middle with herb. then open up your pinky finger enough so that the herb doesnt fall out but you can light it. then just breath in from the top hole and ull get mad respect -eastar5
okay i was lifting and ripped some caluses off my hands, so heres what i did. i put a bandaid on, even if its a small one, and wore gloves. if its too much pain to wear gloves, then just deal with it or dont go. gloves help, use full like garden gloves or full finger exercise gloves since they are so far up your fingers
you cant wear gloves in crew, so that was out of the question from the start. but anything else that will do the trick? i put the neosporin stuff on my hands and it made them sting a little bit at first, now i took it off and they are really hurting. i mean i can only make my hand a half fist before it stings like hell.
its not a very well known sport, but its amazingly competitive and hard. the reason i get blisters is because the oar handels are rubber, and they move around alot in your hand, and they rub against your hand and make htem have blisters.
but still looking to make these things stop hurting or go away (they are all open blisters).
get antiseptic powder & puff it on really well, that'll suck all the moisture out & they'll go hard, then put on a bandaid. im sure you'll be able to waer gloves if you explain yourself.
if I ever see Shane McConkey, I'm going to point at his skis and go 'Dude, they look like waterskis!' just to keep the trend going.
