Sturgeon fishing

on friday i went sturgeon fishing on the columbia. it was my first time and we sat out there for 5 hours in the pouring fuck rain and never caught anything. just a few gnarly bites. when we got back to the docks we asked if anyone else got one, and i guess it was just a shitty day.

i was just wondering if any of you guys have caught one, and if they are fun as hell to reel in? and what did you use for bait?

Yo, if you had a sturgeon on your line you would fucking know it,

I almost got pulled in shore fishing, people had to hold me back, i'm strong but they can get fucken huge,

The line snapped after about 20 minutes of the best fight of my life,

yeah this one little asian guy dropped his anchor on a different day and the sturgeon was pulling him up river like a mother. his little asian wife was filmin it and gigling. i would have banged her.

i used shad and pickled herring for bait. i guess my uncle says they dig the herring.

my dad was fishing sturgeon and he got one on his line and it was puling th boat upstream. in alberta, all we jave is lake sturgeon, but theydont get much bigger than 100 pounds, and it illegal to fish them this year
