ive had my yakima button down 6 for the last 6 seasons. never had any problems with it. and it came with these extender arms to raise on side higher so the bindings would not hit, and ding up the roof of my truck. i just got a new truck and will be putting it on in a week.

depends if you want one all black or with aluminum showing, i have a thule cuz i got a deal, works fine on my neon.

get Thule.. cause they have the square bars, which work better, and just make more sense.

I got a Yakima. I got some nice 72' bars for my sailboat and is holds about 300lbs. Not one complainy with the rack, its amazing. Really easy to put ski rack attachment or any other attachment on too!

get rectangle bars from thule and then racks from yakima, unless yakima makes rectangle bars now.

I don't know what kind of ride you have, but if you have a SUV or a truck with a canopy, i would get a Con-Ferr safari rack, and then attach the Yakima ski rack, it looks sick on most SUVs there are exceptions though

It really depends on the car...just get one that looks good on your car. They both work fine.

I had a sweet yakima setup on my car. It never gave me any trouble. I sold the car, and my new care came with a thule rack. I kinda' like the yakima better, but only because the buttons on the ski rack were easier to open if I had gloves on and my fingers were cold.

I have a Yikama Space Case (??) the actual box which is awesome casuse i can lock my skis in it and go to school and not worry about people tkaing my shit... I have that on top of my Yukon.. my only complaint is that its a bitch to wash in the winter! casue I dont fit in a normal car wash.
