Running=not a sport

running is not a sport. like all other means of transportation such as biking, swimming, walking and racing cars, it is not a sport. my friends and i have determined that it is 1/3 of a sport. this is becuase its a component of most sports but its the easiest half. swimming is not a sport becuase u do it to stay alive. biking is only a sport when lance armstrong is in the race. racing cars, nascar? cmon. ok now im just rambling

sports dont take natural talent, you can develop skills, biking is a sport,

Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively.

running, biking, swimming pretty much all fall under that

curling, ok may not be a sport, but badminton and ping pong def are, along with running. Badminton and ping pong are in the same category as tennis pretty much. Just about everything in the olympics is a sport. Running is already about half of the summer olympics

Mostly because every thread i have read today has seen you post something entirly useless, pointless and tha doesnt contribute at all. STOP BEING A FUCKING POST WHORE! only post when you have something to add to the topic. Dont just post "boo ya" or "why not?". at the very least, give somekinda explination as to why your saying "boo ya" If you do these things, people on this site might actually not rip on you or get really frustrated by your posts.

i completly agree NASCAR is the most BULLSHIT 'sport' out there. It might be dangerous and take a lot of knoweldge of your car and speed but then so should playing video games, you use your hands in both to control something else.

And i hate running too my parents used to make me do cross country i hated every minute of it. After every race i felt like shit, and felt like Iwas gona die.

Sports take natural ability I believe you said. I don't think any pro athlete became pro just because of natural ability, practice helps too. If we say a sport just takes natural ability then a lot of things wouldn't be considered sports.

To be able to compete in running, you have to practice, if you don't practice, then you suck. It also takes lots of natural ability, weight training, and endurance training. You should try to run a mile under 4:30, then say it's not a sport.
