They are stiffer, i don't think they'd be bad, but there are better skis.

the new pe's are sick. i have a pair for sale if you are interested. been ridden 10 - 12 days or so, never seen a rail and mounted at +5 with 912 ti's

they're a pretty good ski, i have the 05s, and they're pretty stiff. great for groomers, great for pipe, not so great for rails. i wouldn't go with anything even more stiff than that, but thats just me

i agree, the PE's seem pretty stiff and heavy for park. if i was looking for a true park ski, i'd look into a fujative instead, which coincidentally was also stiffened quite a bit this year, but still not as stiff as the PE.

exactly...you've heard a bunch of stories! if one person's shit breaks, this entire site starts spreading the thought that every piece of that type of gear breaks easily. granted, 912 ti's may not be indestructible, but no binders are.

stiff skis are illish in the park.. the new pe's slay rails.. why wouldnt they?? soft skis are dope to.. but stiff skis are way more stable.

and salomon bindings are dope as hell, as long as they dont have risers and dont have a lower din than 12 they are awesome.
