um, in case you guys were wondering, ign ran the numbers for both ps3 and xbox 360, and xbox had ps3 covered overall. Plus i really do have faith in the man who basically has a hand in every one of your computers to make sure this system kicks ass.

ps3 controllers look terrible. it is supposed to be more powerful than xbox 360 but won't have as good games. i'm going with xbox 360, plus it comes out sooner

thats cause it isn't it was cg animation in the trailers. the cell processor in the ps3 will be quite rediculas but xbox 360 will have better online play and this time you'll be able to play for free. plus there's gonna be halo 3

to add to this thread which we clearly know about. ps3 is more than twice as powerful as 360. 360 online costs money as ps3 doesnt. 360's games are way overrated. ps3 has good games too, granturismo (entire fuckin series), mgs4, resistance was pretty bad ass. Also with the complaint about ps3 controllers. they've been the same for almost 15 years now. They stayed the same because they were amazing and everyone wanted to keep them. where as the 360 controllers are changed from og xbox. (og xbox controllers = elephant sized hands needed.) And nobody can say anything about psn being worse than live. they are exactly the same now except one free of charge and other is 60 bucks or more a year.
just my 2cents. i sold my xbox because i got tired of red ring. (too bad microsoft cant figure out there gaming systems like their computers, oh wait, there computers suck too). ive had my ps3 for two years and i have never complained about it freezing or dyeing, and it hasn't. so ps3 imo

most ns'ers have xboxes

i have a 360 because i got it cheap, i CAN'T STAND ps3 controllers, and all my friends play xbox so i wouldn't have anyone to play with on psn

i'm sure they're better but i'm happy with my 360

Totally get what your saying dude. i started with sony and really like there controller. the og xbox controllers were just ridiculous.
