What ski's are "cool" to ride

Latley people have been talking about which skis are cool to ride and that they need to be a certain length and crap like that. The way i see it as long as your skiing it's all good.

thats a really good question. I would say that to most people the Scratch's, Armada's, and new k2's are the 'in' skis of the moment. Line has its followers as does salomon but the fad seems to be going the way of sandwich construction at the moment.

i would say that if your not going to go outside the park then all twins are pretty much the same so buy lines or armadas since they actually do alot to support the sport, or im assuming armada will be doing that since they are rider owned.

well since newschool skiing is such an incredibly small sport compared to others...I don't even think we can have a ski thats 'cool to ride.' But if I had to pick one I'd probly say Line. tons of ppl ride it and think the whole equel tip and tail/centermount thing is cool. BUt I'd say go with the skis that r the best, not coolest....whoa, that was stupid....

there is a new in ski every time i come on NS it seems, i prefer Line because they put so much back into the sport. Armadas will be the same i imagine but there is no reason to say that they are the in ski at the moment, i'd like to wait a while and see what the company is actually going to do for the sport without just saying that it will change the face of skiing. I'm sure they are going to change it for the better, but that doesn't mean im going to jump on the bandwagon right away, i wanna be convinced.

I really dont think there is an 'in' ski. I suppose the best skis would probably be scratches, but its pretty much all opinion.

I suppose Armada will be 'in' for awhile cause they're 'the latest thing'...I'm just afraid that it'll get too big and turn into a big corporation just like all the other ski companies out there..I hope that doesn't happen...

I don't think it matters if Armada gets big or not, they just left huge corporations to start on their own, whether they get big or not, they are all passionate about one thing, skiing, and I don't think money will get in the way of that, i could be wrong but i just don't see it happening no matter how big they get.

After I got my Line Skis more people here want to buy Line. My friend just bought Mavericks and another friend is buying the Pro Skiboards and another friend that just bought new skis is wishing he got the 1260s instead.

But anyways, anyone that DOESN'T have a mind of their own on here will ride a certain ski, AND... people who DO have a mind of their own will ride a certain ski.

See where I'm going? probably not but... in skiing and mostly any other sport, a person will buy something and tell their friend that they rock who will tell his friend who's friend will buy the product without knowing. Like here, people will say.. for example, concepts being good, so others will buy to find out and when someone new to newschool will see them riding concepts they'll get a pair too.

But anyways, that probably made no sense because I just ramble on about stuff.

I just went with the ski I wanted. I could've had any line ski but I chose the 1260s despite the fact that they're only up to my nose. But I don't care.
