Mantra's
130-94-113
10mm wider in the shovel than the Explosiv it replaces, just slightly softer flex but stiffer than the Gotama
it addresses all the concerns of people who didn't ski the Explosiv because they thought it was too stiff
the wider shovel initiates turns much more easily and provides a true arc turn
the sidecut makes it much more enjoyable than the Explosiv on trips through hardpack, but the tail doesn't flair as much as many skis with sidecut so it doesn't hook up on steeps
unbelievably stable and damp....a straightliner's dream ski
slight upturn in the tail so you can ride switch but I wouldn't want to land too hard in the backseat (unlike the Gotama which has a much higher tail)
Seth Vicious would be a better true twin tip for the park, the Mantra is for people pointed straight and fast on big mountain environments
