Pivot heel pieces gone?

are they really not gonna be available next year? i heard the race binding still has pivots, some one said that tanner uses them. does the toe pivot or is the whole binding solid?

i'm not sure. but whatever it is... i'm sure its for the better. i don't see why so many people are worked up about this. I highly doubt that LOOK would take away the best binding ont he market, and replace with something that sucks. i bet the new binding is incredible. if not.... just buy older models of the pivots.

they are changing the system for their heelpieces, but it's not gonna be that bad. i will still use them. they will be more responsive, but wont offer the same elasticity. the current ones will be available for years to come though on ebay.

proctorjones has the new rossi bindings. they look a bit different, but they still have the pivot & the dildo

for the 1,000,000th time, just because it has a dildo does NOT mean it pivots. If you look at a current Look/Rossi binding you'll notice that it has a turntable at the heelpiece. This one just has a straight track

oh yeah. well that's kinda shit. if they have a straight up&down heelpeice and the same toepiece, ill prolly be going for the salomons or fks's if i can find them
