there aren't really any 4 year schools near mamoth. all are at least a few hours away. the closer you are to the beach the futher you are from the snow. my school is inland so i am 45 from beach and a hour from mt high and 1 1/2 from bear i hope that helps

Alright, I'm sorry, but there are really no decent schools close to Mammoth. We have Cerro Coso College in town, but that's kind of a last resort, shitty community college.

^ Actually, Pomona is more like 5-6 hours from Mammoth, although that is a good call for college. UNR is about 3 hours.

yeah i definitely wanted to go to college in cali close the the beach and snow but turns out there are not as many "good" schools out west as opposed to the east according to my guidance counselor. i was turned on the the four b's: babes, beach, boarding, beer. i was looking at UCLA but probably wont go there. Also i you want a good jesuit education check out UCSD they have an exchange program with boston college i might look into if i end up in boston. sucks that cali schools are as "established". i want hot chicks

no school exists, mammoth is 4-5 hours from the ocean minimum, during the summer when the pass is open. Your best bet is the central valley in northern california, 2 hours from tahoe, 2 hours from the ocean, UC Davis, UOP, sac state, there's a lot. Clairemont pomona are more like 45 to the beach and 5-6 to mammoth.
