I have both of these, in 179s. I used my PEs early and late season, and my Pistols as my ''go-to'' skis every other day. The Pistols are much more flexy than the PE, but they still haul ass and hold a great edge. The PEs hold an edge on ice much better, Pistols don't like ice, the tails wash out really easy. It comes down to how you like your skis, skinnier and stiffer, or fat with a softer flex.

my pistols are centermounted for park. they kick ass on jibs and in the air.

if you can only buy one, get the pistols. if you can afford both, get the pistols anyways.
