Yeah so how do I go about doing this? I want a few songs that I absolutely CANNOT FIND on the net. Thanks.

try just recoring them. I used to know how to do that.
this will tell you how to extract the audio from the vob files found on the dvd.
and this guide will tell you how to convert the ac3 files to playable and compressed mp3.
ripping vob files takes alot of cpu and space on your HDD so make sure you have enough resources.
im not sure of the time it takes to do this but ive done dvd (vob) to divx and it took a long time and like 8-10 gigs of free space and it was a pain in the ass. finding the songs elsewhere might be a better alternative but id not this should work
there is a much easier way than ripping the whole vob - just click on your sound icon - speaker in taskbar, then go to properties - recording, and set the dvd drive as the recording source (if that doesnt show up just put it on aux balance. then just start the dvd and use windows audio recorder or any other program (in musicmatch you can record right to mp3) to record the song off the dvd - much easier and doesnt take gigabytes of hd space or hours to complete
