SO a couple months ago I got a bill for 800$. I called bc hydro and they immediatly realized there was a problem, as I only live in a one bedroom condo, so they changed my bill from $800 to $190. That was for december and January, the coldest months of the year. So my next bill comes and its 400$. I'm thinking, how can the two coldest months of the year be 190$, and then when we're using less power in February jump up to 400$? So again I call BC hydro and they tell me that the 190$ bill was just an average of the last 10 years for my condo, and that my meter wasnt re-checked because its not cost effective. Then they tell me that there's nothing they can do about the 400$ bill because they never make meter reading mistakes twice in a row. What the hell is this? ... and I cant even change compaines because they have a monopoly. any one else have problems with this shitty company?
Beware the terrible ACL
