i checked the pics and thats what onspired me to post this. it would be sick to have a local water ramp.. now i need to figure out where to build it....
anyone from barrie here? maybe we could all collaborate and make one next summer sometime. anyone live on the water?
yeah thats my water ramp, its 115ft long, slopes at 25 degrees and launches at about 25 degrees. Unfortuatly you need to weigh a little bit to hit it, richie (mullet_scum) is like 110 pounds and can do it but becca is like 90 and cant get enough speed. I'm 195 and I boost off pretty good. Enough to throw a 7 off
baseball is Fucking gay, soon we will be in control!
whats on the suface of the ramp? some form of carpet? or what? me and my friends wanna build one for next summer and we need sum form of 'plans' to start. so if u could post sum info on it it would help. thanks.
dish soap, nylon carpeting
yea that would be so sick to have a local water ramp, anyone wanna do one in the denver area?
this is what smoothbequiren said, 'I orginally used carpet and it does work but unless you have 5 people constantly hauling water or a pump for continuous flow it wont work very good. I wound up getting about 30 feet of convaor belt rollers and covered the rest in some old astroturf-like stuff that the local ski hill happened to have. you have to keep that wet too but you just have to sprinkle a little water on the plastic to keep it wet.'
I pitty the fool who don't use 1-800 Collect.
